The Oak Hills Local School District is excited to announce that the 7th and 8th grade choir from Bridgetown Middle School under the leadership of Chelsey Sweatman, will participate in the College-Conservatory of Music’s "Feast of Carols” at the University of Cincinnati this winter.

There are only three guest choirs invited every year to perform throughout the Feast of Carols weekend and Bridgetown is extremely honored to be a part of this performance! The students will perform on December 2 at 5:00 p.m.

"We are so excited to have our Bridgetown singers be a part of this once in a lifetime experience to perform at the prestigious College-Conservatory of Music,"Chelsey Sweatman, Bridgetown choir director, said.

“Students will be exposed to holiday music ranging from classic and traditional to contemporary music, allowing them to gain valuable experience in diversifying their appreciation of different musical genres, as well as performing alongside some of the best local choirs and orchestra,” Jeff Brandt, superintendent of Oak Hills, shared.

Tickets go on sale today and will sell out. Be sure to order them soon if you plan to attend. Visit UC’s website for more information and to purchase tickets at http://ccm.uc.edu/boxoffice/concerts/prestige/feast-of-carols.html.

“This experience will not only highlight the skills each student has hidden deep inside, but will also create a memory of a lifetime for our students and families! Bravo,” Bridgetown principal Adam Taylor added.

We hope to see you there to support our BMS 7th & 8th Grade Choir and the Oak Hills Community! #highlanderstrong #holidayswiththeHighlanders
