TO-KNOW
- Class pictures are on Monday in the Library. Please line students in up in height order. The schedule is available here.
- The Science Festival is this Thursday, with the theme “The Language of Learning Science.” We will began with an all-school assembly from 8:40 – 9:10. Kindergarten and first grade classes please plan to fill in the gym immediately following announcements, followed by 2nd and 3rd grades a couple of minutes later and, finally, 4th and 5th grades. Please see Sarah Bertke’s email titled “Science Festival Schedule,” sent on January 13 if you need a reminder of what time your grade level attends following the assembly. Thanks to Sarah and Kristen for organizing!
- We have a Professional Learning day on Friday! All teachers will be meeting in other buildings in the morning and we will have building time in the afternoon. I am waiting on final assignments and will share a more detailed schedule once I have them.
- Do you have a PK-3 license and have an interest in receiving a 4-5 endorsement? I’ve received a couple of emails recently from universities offering programs, most online. Let me know if you’re interested and I’ll pass along the information.
TO-DO
- I am meeting with the lead person from Vartek on Wednesday morning and would appreciate any feedback you would like for me to share. We will be discussing why the OHLSD – Staff network has not been working and what their plan is to get it up and running. If you have any additional concerns related to technology that you would like me to share, please let me know before Wednesday. This could be problems that you have reported and have not been satisfactorily resolved or other questions and/or issues. Please also let me know if you have been especially satisfied with Vartek’s response to an issue so that I can also reinforce what’s going well!
