TO-KNOW
- How can it already be the end of third quarter?! A reminder that the bucket is now open and will close on March 18. Thank you for all of your efforts during what can be a hectic and stressful time of year. You make a true, lasting impact on our students’ lives and I am so appreciative.
- The SPG Professional Learning Day spreadsheet has been updated with details for Friday’s In-Service Day. Please note that many of you will be starting the day in an AIR testing training session at COH and will then transition to classrooms for other meetings. Please open the linked agendas to see where you will go following the testing training. You will also note that there is time allotted to work on completing the spring SDQ. I expect to receive more information about the SDQ early this week and will share via email as soon as I receive it.
- I will be at District Office on Thursday afternoon, leaving around 12:30. I am not sure whether I will be back in time for dismissal. I will have my phone and will return if needed. Andrea is out all day on Monday and on Thursday morning.
- As I mentioned in my email this week, we have posted Shannon’s position as a permanent, part-time listing. We will accept applications through Monday. Please be sure to share with anyone you think would be great in the role!
- Looking to earn some extra money this summer? ClassroomAntics is looking for summer instructors for summer technology camps that serve children ages 7-14. TO-DO
- If you haven’t already, please share the levy FAQ with your families through weekly newsletters or other channels that you use for parent communication. Some optional wording to introduce the FAQ: “At the January 23 board meeting, the OHLSD Board of Education unanimously passed the Resolution to Proceed with a 4.82 mill substitute levy in the May 2, 2017 election. This substitute levy will NOT raise homeowners’ taxes. Please see this list of Frequently Asked Questions for more information. Please mark your calendar for Election Day on May 2!”
