OHLSD names Dan Beckenhaupt as New Superintendent

The Oak Hills Local School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Dan Beckenhaupt as its new superintendent. A dedicated educator and experienced leader, Beckenhaupt has been an integral part of the Oak Hills community since 2008.
During his 17 years with the district, Beckenhaupt has served in a number of leadership roles, including seven years as principal at Delhi Middle School, two years as Director of High School Curriculum, and most recently as Director of Human Resources. His deep understanding of the district and its culture, operations, and academic priorities uniquely positions him to lead Oak Hills into its next chapter.
Before joining Oak Hills, Beckenhaupt served in several administrative roles at Fairfield City Schools, including assistant principal at Fairfield High School and principal of the freshman building. He began his career in education in 1997 as a Social Studies teacher at Fairfield High School.
Beckenhaupt earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Northern Kentucky University and a Master’s degree in Education from Xavier University in 2002.
“Dan’s leadership experience and long-standing commitment to Oak Hills make him the ideal person to take on
this important role,” said Mischelle Philpot, President of the Oak Hills Board of Education. “His focus on
student achievement, staff support, and community engagement will serve our district well.”
Beckenhaupt succeeds Jeff Brandt, who after a 25-year career in education and leadership at Oak Hills Local
School District was recently named superintendent at the Butler County Educational Service Center.
