TO-KNOW

  • BIG WEEK THIS WEEK!

  • THANK YOU to Jessica Abrams and Molly Phillips for their work on the Walk-A-Thon (Thank them if you see them). Early results indicate that we have raised more money than we did last year!

  • IMPORTANT NOTE: I received contact from Green Township Fire Department. They are going to do an unannounced fire drill some time during the month of October. I have no control of when that drill will happen. Surprise!

  • We have received some legal guidance related to refusing to stand during the national anthem, patriotic music, or the pledge. This has been very much in the news and I’m sure that it is in our student’s minds. If this is an issue that you are having with a student please do not “force the student” to stand but instead get me involved. Thanks. We are encouraged to treat this as a teachable moment. Here is a resource about this guidance (Link).

  • SDQ: We will only be administering the SDQ one time this year. The window is 10/9-11/10. You will be given 60 minutes to complete the SDQ on 10/16/2017.
