Students present project board

On Friday, May 17, 7th grade Delhi Middle School students on the Lynx team presented their action hour projects to their peers and guests.

This year they dedicated 20 percent of our weekly class time to a student-action project that has empowered students to investigate the world, recognize perspectives, take action and communicate their ideas to a diverse audience.

"As a social studies teacher and a language arts teacher, we saw this as perfect opportunity to create an interdisciplinary framework for our students to have choice, create authentic work that professionals do in the real world and is globally significant," teachers Tessa Keyes and Maggie Kays shared. "Our love of teaching has grown so much watching our students find their passion and take control of their learning."
