For your review: OHLSD Five-Year Financial Forecast

Posted on: October 25, 2019

The Oak Hills Board of Education approved the district's Five-Year Financial Forecast at its Oct. 21st meeting.

School districts are required by law to submit the Forecast semi-annually to the Ohio Department of Education in the fall and in the spring for the General Fund.

Our district's fiscal year is July 1-June 30. Our Five-Year Forecast includes a three-year history of actual financial data from prior years and projected estimates for the next five fiscal years.  Additional components of the Five-Year Financial Forecast include, revenues, expenditures, encumbrances, excess/deficit line items, and the projected ending cash balance.

Prior to viewing our Five-Year Financial Forecast, stakeholders should read the assumptions to gain a better understanding of projections.  Our Five-Year Financial Forecast is based on information known as of today.  Therefore, the Forecast is volatile in nature and estimates will change through the duration of the forecast.  Our Five-Year Financial Forecast is completed through extensive collaboration between district administration and state/local entities, as well as business partners.
