Tenth-grade book mentors from Oak Hills High School and 5th-grade readers from John Foster Dulles Elementary School celebrated the joy of reading at the third annual Book Festival. The culmination of months of work, the Book Festival generated contagious energy and excitement for reading.

High School students in Content Lit classes worked to engage 5th-grade students from Dulles through books they all selected to read back in February. The students worked together to generate campaigns for the best books.

At the end of their work together, all students voted to decide which titles should be purchased for classroom libraries at Dulles. The programming, including lunch and the purchase of titles for classroom libraries, was generously supported by Children, Inc. and The Oak Hills Alumni Foundation. This program continues a successful collaboration with our partners at the Green Township Branch of the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County.
