Ponytails for a Purpose: donate hair for cancer survivors on 1/20
As part of this year's Teal Out events at Oak Hills High School to raise awareness about ovarian cancer and collect funds for the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Gr Cincinnati, we invite you to chop your locks during half-time of the girls varsity basketball game on January 20 at Oak Hills High School.
In the past we've had over 50 girls donate their hair to the Pantene Beautiful Lengths project. Will you join the movement? Learn more here: https://pantene.com/en-us/brandexperience/make-the-cut From their website: Thank you for giving to Pantene® Beautiful Lengths in such a beautiful way. Soon, you’ll be part of the largest national movement and first campaign to create free, real-hair wigs for women with cancer. Bravo! Hair provided by generous volunteers like you will be used to craft beautiful, high-quality wigs by our partner, HairUWear®. Then it will go to a woman affected by hair loss from cancer.
Hold off on that holiday haircut until January so you can donate to the cause. Ponytails must be at least 8 inches long in order to be used. To RSVP for the event contact Gretchen Smith at firstname.lastname@example.org.
