Principal Hunt and Green Township Police Officers

Today, grade-level meetings for all students took place at Oak Hills High School with principal Hunt, school resource officer Crone and officers from the Green Township Police Department related to school safety. ALICE (alert, lockdown, inform, counter, evacuate) procedures were reviewed and an example video shared with students.

Police also spoke about the consequences of posing threats to school. The Highlanders were encouraged to report any suspicious behavior or rumors threatening school safety to a trusted adult, parent or the police. Remember, tips can also be submitted through the Oak hills app. #seesomethingsaysomething

Please discuss the content of these meetings with your children. Similar meetings are being scheduled for all district buildings.

We are thankful for the support of our local police force.
