Welcome Back Letter

Highlander Community,

On behalf of the Oak Hills Board of Education and staff, I want to welcome everyone back for the 2016-17 school year. We are excited about the return of our students on August 15.

We have spent the summer eagerly preparing for the upcoming school year and are excited to share new learning experiences with our students. Our continuous improvement efforts are critical to our students and staff, ensuring our rich tradition of “Excellence.” We continually strive to provide high-quality educational opportunities within safe and orderly environments so that each student can maximize his or her fullest potential. We will continue to prepare our students for college and career readiness and to instill the skills necessary to compete in a global market.

Over the summer, we had several administrative changes at both the district and building level. Please note the following below.

The Oak Hills community is a powerful resource for our students. On behalf of the Board of Education and the Oak Hills staff, thank you for your continued support. We look forward to our partnership with parents and community members.  We will continue to enhance opportunities for all students.

We eagerly anticipate the beginning of the new school year. Student success excites and inspires us to get back to work with all students!
