Bridgetown Middle School and the Oak Hills Local School District continue to be a destination spot for college students eager to learn from some of the best educators in the business. This fall, 37 students from Miami University’s College of Education are completing their practicums at Bridgetown, gaining valuable hands-on experience in lesson planning, classroom management, relationship building, and team collaboration.

In addition to the 37 practicum students beginning the week of October 6, Bridgetown currently hosts four full-time student teachers. These aspiring educators are actively engaged across all subject areas, learning side by side with master teachers who are committed to preparing the next generation of leaders in education.

Principal Adam Taylor emphasized the unique value of the partnership:
“This is a tremendous learning opportunity with some of the finest educators in our district. The students are truly learning from the best, and Bridgetown continues to be a sought-after destination for college students who want to refine their skills and grow as future teachers.”

The collaboration between Bridgetown Middle School and Miami University reflects the Oak Hills Local School District’s dedication to fostering innovation in education, building strong professional pathways, and preparing both its students and future teachers for success.
