Mrs. Battoclette’s 2017 eighth grade mural club at Rapid Run Middle School completed a new mural to welcome everyone into the building for the 2017-18 school year. Their inspiration comes from a modified Nelson Mandela quote, “Education is the most powerful way to change the world.” The image features symbols spelling out the the word ‘world’ that represent peace, technology and global awareness.

The mural club chose this quote and thought it was a fitting way for students to be reminded what our goal is in the Oak Hills Local School District.

Please join us in congratulating and thanking the following students for all of their hard work and talented efforts in completing the artwork. Artists: Katie Daugherty, Megan Frey, Grace Leonardi, Abigail Miller and Arielle Strutz. #highlanderstrong
