For the second year in a row, a team from Oak Hills High School captured first place at the AI Promptathon hosted by the Hamilton County Education Service Center.
A total of 15 teams from across the region competed in the annual event that brings together teams of high school students, educators, and administrators to collaborate and develop innovative solutions using artificial intelligence. Participants work together to design practical AI-driven ideas that can be applied in real-world settings.

The winning Oak Hills team was led by Team Captain Mrs. Courtney Vaive and included students Nadyah Young, Jamie Mushrush, Adalae Logan, and Easton Hall.

Their project impressed judges with its creativity, collaboration, and effective use of AI technology to solve real-world challenges. Schools may register multiple teams for the competition, making the event a unique opportunity for participants to explore cutting-edge technology while working together to develop meaningful solutions.

Oak Hills also had the second place team and a total of 19 students from the high participated in the event. Oak Hills’ back-to-back championship highlights the district’s continued commitment to preparing students with the skills needed for the future, including collaboration, critical thinking, and emerging technology.
