Return on Investment
In September 2026, the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce released the 2025 Report Card which includes academic achievement levels as well as financial expenditures. The illustration below validates the return on investment that our constiuents are receiving on their resources. Of the 600 districts across the state, Oak Hills' spending level per student is in bottom 13% and Oak Hills' is only 1 of 33 districts to achieve a 4 or 5 Star rating while spending less than $11k per student. Keep in mind state and federal regulations require the district to provide specific services including transportation to public and non-public students.
How we compare
In September 2024, the Ohio Department of Education released report cards for all public school districts across the State. The report card star rating illustrates the academic performance of a school district and is based on multiple measures which can be found on the Ohio Department of Education's website (www.education.ohio.gov). The chart below indicates that Oak Hills Local School District provides a high-quality education at a low cost to our stakeholders.
