Highlander GMC Athletes of the Week

Congratulations to our Highlanders who were named GMC Athletes of the Week!
Max Rhodes Football Sr.
Max, a multi sport athlete, recorded a great statistics line for this week.....99 return yards, 14 tackles (11 solo), 5 QB hurries, and had 34.5 yard punting avg. Also, Max is an excellent student with a GPA of 4.0.
Ethan Hobbs Boys' Soccer Soph
Ethan had the game winning goal in a 2-1 victory over LaSalle.
Paige Lint Girls' Tennis Fr.
Paige Lint, a freshman, has started her career 5-0 at second singles for the Highlanders. This past week she defeated Seven Hills, Sycamore, and Seton. In addition to tennis, Paige was a member of NJHS at Bridgetown and involved in the German Club. Paige has a 4.0 GPA.
Taylor Spille Girls' Soccer Soph
Taylor played a key role in the Highlanders’ impressive 4-0 victory over Walnut Hills, scoring two goals and adding an assist. A vital part of the team's attack, she has consistently done an excellent job holding up play, involving her teammates, and creating quality scoring opportunities. Taylor excels in the classroom while taking a challenging course load that includes several AP and honors classes.
Kylie Hall Girls' Volleyball Fr
As our only freshman on varsity, Kylie earned 3 blocks against Seton, 3 blocks against Mercy McAuley and 6 blocks against Batavia in her first week. Kylie also earned 5 kills in these matches as well.
Eden Vath Girls' Cross Country Fr.
In her very first high school cross country race, Eden ran with the poise and determination of a seasoned veteran. She finished third on the team with an impressive time of 20:06. Eden is a dedicated athlete who shows up to every practice ready to give 100%.
