Congratulations to the Highlanders who were named GMC Athletes of the Week!
Maura Siberski Girls' Wrestling Jr.
Maura, took Second Place at the Milford Invitational. Helping Oak Hills women’s team secure the team championship!
Chloe Kelley Girls' Wrestling Jr.
Chole, took second place at the Milford invitational, helping Oak Hills women’s team win their second team tournament!
Petros Vidas Academic Team Jr.
Petros is one of the top players in the geography category in the entire conference! He brings positive energy to the team each practice and match and is one of the top students in the Class of 2027!
Ella Weinmann Girls' Bowling Sr.
Senior Ella Weinmann continues to have a stand-out season on the Girls Varsity A Bowling Team. At the match last week with Taylor, Ella led the team with a series of 395 pins, averaging 197.5 pins per game. She followed that solid performance this weekend by earning her 3rd All-Tournament Team placement of the season, finishing 3rd overall in the West Division of the East vs. West Showdown with a series of 402 pins. Ella currently sits in 2nd place overall in the GMC with a team-leading average of 187.5 pins per game.
Anna Shattuck Girls' Bowling Soph.
Anna continues to make a big impact on the Girls Varsity A bowling team this season. Anna currently sits 11th in the GMC with an average of 164.5 pins per game, the 3rd highest on the Girls Varsity A bowling team. This past weekend, Anna rolled the 4th highest series in the West Division of the East vs. West Showdown, a 396, landing her on the All-Tournament Team.
Mason Rohman Boys' Bowling Fr.
Mason is a freshman on the boys Bowling team. Mason switched bowling styles before the season and has put in a ton of work on the lanes which has paid off. Since the beginning of the season Mason has improved his average over 15 pins! Also- Mason is a great teammate who supports his team even if he isn't in the game.
AJ Dean Boys' Basketball Sr.
AJ scored 37 points on 10-18 makes from the field and 11-11 from the Ft line in 2 games last week. He also had 4 rebounds and 4 assists. AJ serves as a Basketball Buddy with Elementary school students and volunteered at Special Olympics.
Cordell Ball Boys' Basketball Soph.
Cordell had 42 points, 16 rebounds and 3 assists in 2 wins last week. He was 13-18 from the field and 16-20 from the FT line. Cordell serves as a Basketball Buddy with Elementary school students and volunteered at Special Olympics.
