Highlander GMC Athletes of the Week

Congratulations to our Highlanders who were named GMC Athletes of the Week!
Jett Sloan Boys' Swimming Jr.
Jett won the 100yd and the 200yd Freestyle events in the GMC Swim Meet. In addition, Jett earned the GMC Boy's Swimmer of the Year. Jett also has a 3.88 GPA.
Brady Kornmann Boys' Basketball Sr.
Brady is a rare 3-sport athlete (Football, Basketball, Baseball) who loves to compete. Brady scored 12 points, had 4 assists and 3 steals in our Senior Night win this week. He is a leader in his own way in terms of being a great teammate, doing the "dirty work" for his teams, and filling whatever role his team needs. He has been a member of S.A.L.T. and serves as a Basketball "Buddy"at a local elementary school. He has a 3.23 GPA.
Jason Olsen Academic Team Sr.
Jason has been a great addition to our team this season! Jason brings positive energy each day and is selfless in his effort to do whatever he can to make our team better!
John Teal Boys' Bowling Jr.
John in his first full season as a varsity member is currently 15th in the GMC. John has helped his team this season by being a reliable member of the team. John is a great teammate and works every day towards getting better.
Anna Burns Girl's Bowling Jr.
Anna Burns had a good second half of her third season as a member of the Girls Varsity B bowling team. Currently, Anna holds an average of 122.25 pins per game, with a high game of 159 pins, and high 2-game series of 279 pins. Last week, Anna led the Varsity B team in the match with Mercy McAuley with a series of 266 pins. Anna also finished in the top 25 of all individuals in the "West Division" at the East vs. West Showdown tournament at the beginning of February.
