Congratulations to OHHS Competition Cheer Team- State Runner-Up!

On January 12, 2020, the Oak Hills Varsity Competition Cheerleading Team competed for the Ohio Athletic Committee Cheerleading State Championship in Marysville, Ohio. Led by seniors, Alyssa Roth, Maria Huth, Lexy Hutto, Kalianne Lloyd, Ashley Harsman, Rylee Torbeck, and Sophia Zullo, the Highlanders placed 2nd out of 7 teams with a near flawless routine that included advanced tumbling and stunts, a crowd-pumping cheer, a pyramid, and finished with an electrifying dance!
This team gave it their all and brought so much energy to the mat... a result of the many late night practices, managing adversity, being mentally and physically tough, and pushing each other to get better! The OHHS coaching staff is extremely proud of this team and is excited for their continued success in the future! Congratulations on the State Runner-Up finish!
