Congratulations to the Highlanders who were named GMC Athletes of the Week!

Abby Dunn                Girls' Bowling             Soph
Sophomore Abby Dunn has shown incredible determination and resilience throughout the entire bowling season in her first year on the team. Abby has improved her average more than 10 pins per game since winter break, and last week Abby rolled her highest game of the season, a 133, to help the JV girls earn a win over Kings by almost 300 pins! Abby has stepped up to bowl with the Varsity A and Varsity B girls teams whenever asked without hesitation, and is the ultimate teammate always cheering everyone on!

Sophomore Kat Reber has been such a positive addition to the girls bowling team this season! Kat brings an always optimistic attitude to every practice and match, and works hard to improve her skills. Last week that hard work paid off when she rolled her new highest game ever, an incredible 153 in the match with Kings. This game helped the Lady Highlanders win by almost 300 pins!

Jett is a Freshman on the swim team and has had some major success this season! Last weekend at Sectionals, he qualified 14th in the 50 Free and 16th in the 100 Free for Districts.
