Highlander GMC Athletes of the Week
Congratulations to the following Highlanders who were named GMC Athletes of the Week!
 
Gabrielle Kadakia        Girls' Tennis           Soph.
Gabrielle has started the season with 6 straight wins. During those wins she has won 72 games while only losing 7 games. In addition to being a huge piece of the tennis team, Gabrielle carries a 3.9 GPA while being a class officer and a member of the Key Club.   
 
Zach Krieg         Boys' Cross Country           Jr.
Zach is competing in his second year of cross country. Since the end of last season, he has made a serious commitment in words and actions to becoming a contributing member of the team. The fruits of his labors are significant and he has worked his way up to fight for a spot in the top 10 on our team. His dedication to his goal has been inspiring and he's not done yet!  
 
Allen Nienaber    Boys' Golf     Sr.
Senior captain Allen Nienaber was medalist with an even-par round in a win over Hamilton. He also made a Double Eagle (2) on the par 5 9th hole at Indian Ridge.  
 
Riley Ludwig     Girl's Soccer     Jr.
Riley, a Junior soccer player for the Highlanders, got her first Varsity appearance Friday night against Ross. Riley stepped onto the field and one minute later, she logged her first Varsity point, getting a big assist to open up the scoring for the Highlanders! She also excels in the classroom as well! She has a 4.0 GPA, while taking a challenging course schedule. She also serves on the Class of 2022 Student Council Executive Board and is a member of the National Honor Society and Art National Honor Society.
