Highlander GMC Athletes of the Week
Congratulations to our Highlanders who were named GMC Athletes of the Week!

Quinntin Muddiman         Baseball            Sr
Quinntin was a member of the 2021 GMC Champion baseball team. He has demonstrated a great attitude and work ethic during the off-season. His hard work in the classroom has earned him a 3.6 GPA.

Jameson Richmond           Baseball      Sr
Jameson has shown great leadership during the off-season, and continues to make a huge impact on his teammates and the baseball program. In the first two scrimmages, he hit 2 Home Runs, a double, and had 7 runs batted in. He signed to play baseball at the University of Louisville.

Jasmine Mueller Softball Jr
Jasmine is a member of NHS. She is always the first to lend a helping hand and do whatever it takes for the better of the team. When she’s not catching pitchers she’s asking to get extra fly balls. Jasmine is one of the hardest workers and is always willing to help teammates in need. She is the true definition of a leader. She is vocal, she’s team focused and selfless. She does this because it’s who she is- not because she thinks someone is watching. She will play a big part in the success of our team for many reasons. Congrats on a great start to the season, Jasmine.

Robert Hart          Boys' Track          Sr
Robert qualified for the Track & Field Indoor State Championship a couple weeks ago. He competed in the high jump and made the podium with a jump of 6'4" and a 7th place finish! This was Robert's first time earning All-Ohio honors, but he has high hopes for the outdoor season. So far this year he has a season best of 6'7", positioning him as one of the top jumpers in the state and just one inch off of the Oak Hills school record.

Jillian Yates Girls' Track Sr
Jillian qualified for the Track & Field Indoor State Championship a couple weeks ago. She competed in the shot put and made the podium with a throw of 38'8" and a 5th place finish! This was Jillian's first time earning All-Ohio honors, but she has high hopes for the outdoor season. Her mark of 38'8" is a new Oak Hills school record, breaking her own record from last season by 2 inches.

Garrett Kessling           Boys' Lacrosse                Soph
Garrett, a multi-sport athlete, had a great game in our season opener, scoring 4 goals on only 5 shots against Kings in a 13-9 win. Garrett is also an excellent student with a 4.0 GPA.

Blake Jackson Boys' Lacrosse Sr
Blake has had a great start to the 2022 lacrosse season. He had 6 goals in our scrimmage against Summit Country Day and has been a fantastic leader on the field. He has also been a great leader in the classroom as he is currently holding a 3.68 GPA. Blake also had 6 points with 5 goals and 1 assist in the season opener at Kings High School in a 13-9 win. He also controlled 3 ground balls in helping lead to the victory.
