Highlander GMC Athletes of the Week

Congratulations to our Highlanders who were named GMC Athletes of the Week!


Avery Gottlieb    Softball                 Jr
Avery had a stellar performance in the circle her first week. She recorded 35ks and collected 2 homeruns against Colerain. Avery had 2 incredible outings against Beavercreek & Mason. Avery and the Highlanders start the season off going 3-1 only allowing 2 runs to be scored.
 
Madison Coster Girls' Lacrosse Soph
Madison has put a lot of hard work in the off season and now it is paying off. As a Midfielder she is doing a great job transitioning the ball from defense to offense and has scored 8 goals, 3 assists and has 14 ground balls in our first 2 games. She is a great team player.  
 
Jaxon Schreiber         Baseball            Jr
Jaxon had a great start to the season with a .462 Avg. and a .533 OBP. He scored 5 runs and drove in 7 baserunners. He also had 2 assists from the outfield. Jaxon does a great job in the classroom as well with a 3.7 GPA.
 
Jack Hoeting Boys' Tennis Sr
Senior, Jack Hoeting, has started the 2022 season with four straight doubles wins over St. Xavier "B," Mariemont, Elder, and Lakota West. In addition to tennis, Jack carries a 4.0 GPA while working at Western Hills Country Club. After high school Jack plans on attending Xavier University and getting a degree in computer science.   
 
Drew Scherra         Boys' Lacrosse     Sr
Drew scored 12 goals and had 6 assists in our 3 games last week, including 6 goals and 2 assists against Mason. He is a great leader on and off the field and he currently has a 3.4 GPA.
