Highlander GMC Athletes of the Week

Congratulations to our Highlanders who were named GMC Athletes of the Week!

 
Jaxon Schreiber          Football         Sr
Jaxon Schreiber completed 31 out of 42 pass for 222 yards for the Highlanders in their first earned playoff game since 1999. Jaxon also helped lead the Highlanders to five wins for the first time since 2013. Jaxon is a multi-sport athlete who has earned a 3.63 GPA.
 
Jacob Day Football Sr
Jacob had 11 catches for 60 yards vs. Springboro in the Highlanders first earned playoff appearance since 1999. Jacob for the season had 46 receptions for 492 yards. 
 
Alex Taft       Boys' Cross Country          Sr 
Alex competed in his 3rd regional championship of his career this past Saturday. He was the lone qualifier for the Oak Hills boys. Alex ran a great race; the perfect way to cap off a stellar senior season. Alex also a a 4.0 GPA.
 
Eva Hensley Girls' Cross Country Jr
Eva placed 12th at the Regional Championships to qualify for the third year in a row to the State Championship meet. Eva has a 3.93 GPA. 
 
Alyssa Hammond    Girls' Cross Country           Sr
Alyssa placed 20th at the Regional Championships to qualify for the State Championship meet. She also has a 4.0 GPA.
