Highlander GMC Athletes of the Week

Congratulations to our Highlanders who were named GMC Athletes of the Week!

 
Wyatt Ferguson                Wrestling                     Sr.
Wyatt has had a busy off season. After coming off an injury Wyatt was able to win an Ohio Freestyle State title, came up one match short of All American status at the Junior National Championships (Fargo), went 5-2 at Super 32, and finished 2nd at Pre Season Nationals.
 
Maggie Brogan Girls' Basketball Jr.
Maggie is in her second year as varsity team manager. She has been a valuable addition to the girls basketball program. Maggie attends practices and games, assisting with various team duties including running the clock, handling uniform distribution and videotaping home and road contests. She is an outstanding student and also handles all the team introduction handshakes! Thank you Maggie!  
 
Hailey Moeves            Girls' Basketball            Jr.
Hailey is in her second year as varsity team manager. She has been a valuable addition to the girls basketball program. Hailey attends all practices and games, running the clock, handling uniform distribution and videotaping home and road contests. She always comes to games and practices ready to go. She is an outstanding student and a member of the National Honor Society. Thank you Hailey!
 
Kenzie Goff Girls' Bowling Sr.
Kenzie is having a great start to her final year as a member of the Girls Bowling team! At tryouts, Kenzie averaged over 170 pins per game; more than 30 pins above her average at the end of the 2021-2022 season. Kenzie is a leader on the Varsity Team and we're excited to see where her Senior Year takes her!  
 
Kaden Taylor           Boys' Basketball                 Jr.
Kaden has been our basketball student assistant for the past 2 seasons. He sets up for practice, keeps our practice clock and scores, cleans up after practice and performs other various necessary duties to help our program. Kaden is also a member of the National Honor Society and has a 3.6 GPA. He also helps with Boys and Girls' Soccer.
