Highlander GMC Athletes of the Week

Congratulations to the Highlanders who were named GMC Athletes of the Week!


Julian Harris    Boys' Lacrosse    Fr.
Julian, a multi-sport athlete, played very well in his defensive role in his first 2 varsity games of his career.
 
Madison Coster Girls' Lacrosse Jr.
Madison is an Honors student with 4.0 GPA. She scored 4 goals, had 5 draw controls and 2 ground balls in a 14-6 win over Cooper High School and she had 5 goals, had 9 draw controls and 3 ground balls in a 15-8 win over McNicholas High School.   
 
Kyler Frede         Baseball         Sr.
Kyler pitched a complete game one hitter to open up conference play. He was 1st Team GMC last year and started this season with a strong performance. He also has high character and carries a 3.5 GPA.
 
Alyssa Hammond Girls' Track Sr.
Alyssa started off her season with a win in the 1600, a 2nd place finish in the 4x800 and stepped in to run the fastest split time in the 4x400 relay. She helped her team to a second place finish at the Harrison All Comer Invitational. Alyssa is a four year varsity athlete in both Track and Cross Country. She works hard in the classroom as well and has a 4.0 GPA.   
 
Noah McKee         Boys' Track             Sr.
Noah put on quite a show to start off his senior season. Noah was part of 3 first place performances: the 800m, 4x800 relay and the 4x400 relay. Noah ran a personal best time in the 800. He helped his team to a second place finish at the Harrison All Comer Invitational.
