Highlander GMC Athletes of the Week

Congratulations to the following athletes who have been named GMC Athletes of the Week!
Elias Wheeler Football Sr.
Elias has become a key piece to our offense. He has worked incredibly hard in the weight room and on the football field. Elias recently had a 50 yard touchdown in our scrimmage vs Elder. Elias is ready to have a breakout senior season for the Highlanders. Elias is a multi-sport athlete who also performs community service and has a 3.1 GPA in Honors classes.
Liz Savage Girls' Soccer Sr.
Liz has been a huge asset to the Varsity this season. Her leadership, positivity, high work rate and experience has been a huge boost to this year's Varsity squad. Liz also is an excellent student with over a 4.0 GPA as she takes 3 AP courses and 1 honors course.
Will Kadakia Boys' Golf Jr.
Junior Captain Will Kadakia led the Highlanders in scoring at the Beechwood Inv. & Connor Invitational. Will is a 2 sport student athlete. He swims for the Highlanders in the winter and is 15th in his class of over 700 students with over a 4.0 GPA. In addition, Will performs community service and is an active member of the student leadership group S.A.L.T.
