Highlander GMC Athletes of the Week
Congratulations to our Highlanders who were named GMC Athletes of the Week!

Anthony Young            Football          Soph
Anthony is a standout, sophomore, multi-sport athlete for the Highlanders. He recorded 14 tackles Friday night vs Elder. He amassed 51 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 interception this year. In the classroom, he maintains a 3.63 cumulative grade point average while taking a variety of honors and advanced placement courses.
 
Elias Wheeler      Football           Sr.
Elias is a senior, multisport athlete for the Highlanders. Elias hauled in three catches for 60 yards and one touchdown Friday vs Elder. On the season Elias has 28 catches for 505 yards and 5 touchdowns. He is a 3.07 cumulative grade point average student enrolled in multiple honors and college credit plus classes.   
 
Eva Hensley            Girls' Cross Country        Sr.
Eva placed 4th at the Regional Championships this past weekend to qualify for the State Championship meet. Eva has qualified for the State meet all 4 years. Her time of 18:22 was her second fastest time of her career. She is ranked as the Oak Hills 2nd fastest Cross Country runner in school history.
 
Aleah Coster    Girls' Cross Country  Fr
Aleah placed 17th at the Regional Championship race to qualify for the State Championship meet. She ran a great time of 18:54. Aleah is ranked as the Oak Hills all time 5th fastest Cross Country runner.
