Junior Caroline Eichhorn is among a select number of Cincinnati area students chosen to participate in the local TAP MD program. TAP MD is sponsored by the Health Collaborative under the umbrella of Healthcare Workforce Innovation.  TAP MD is a physician exploration program which helps talented students “tap” into their potential for careers in medicine. Starting in late January, Caroline will attend monthly medical experiences. She will learn the A to Zs of being a physician including what she should be doing now to prepare, the various specialties and practice settings, information about medical school and more.

To enter this career exploring program, students must be strong academically, motivated, mature, dependable and have a positive attitude. The program has an ultimate goal that more than 50 percent of participating students will pursue a career in medicine at the completion of the program.
